Compliance Lead
Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive, senior Compliance Lead to build and oversee an enterprise-wide compliance program for a large industrial organization in Egypt.
Reporting directly to the CEO, this is an individual-contributor leadership role that influences across functions to embed a culture of integrity and ethical business practices. On-site presence is required across Cairo (Nile City) and the Sokhna operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the compliance agenda: set the strategy, policies, and controls to ensure adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and internal standards.
- Design and maintain the compliance framework covering core risk areas including AML, anti-bribery & corruption (ABC), competition law, economic sanctions, and data privacy.
- Advise senior leadership (CEO and executives) on compliance risks, mitigation plans, and program effectiveness; prepare reports and recommendations.
- Conduct monitoring and reviews, support investigations, and coordinate corrective actions where required.
- Drive awareness and training to strengthen compliance culture across the business.
- Partner cross-functionally (legal, finance, HR, operations, and plant teams) to embed controls into day-to-day processes and projects.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 8 years in compliance, legal, audit, or risk roles; strong exposure to industrial/manufacturing environments and multinational settings is recommended. Senior/leadership caliber is expected.
- Education: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting (required). A Law background is highly recommended.
- Expertise: In-depth understanding of AML, ABC, competition law, sanctions, and data privacy and how to operationalize controls around them.
- Language: English fluency (C1).
- Work authorization: Egyptian nationality (as specified for this role).

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, comfortable advising senior leadership.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention to detail; able to prioritize and deliver under time pressure.
- Self-starter who can operate independently while influencing cross-functional teams.
Working Conditions & Benefits
- Employment: Full-time, on-site; 8 working hours/day, 2 days off/week; fixed working hours.
- Locations: Cairo (Nile City) and Sokhna plant; occasional business visits as required.
