Job Purpose

To plan, direct, and coordinate day-to-day financial tasks and activities in the Finance department.

Responsibilities:

• The trial balance, balance sheet and income statement every month, and report it to the GM for reviewing.
• Issue and prepare cheques for due payments of suppliers/subcontractors to be approved by the GM.
• Revise all incoming payments of the company with the Accounts Receivable team
• Prepare the monthly Percentage of Completion (POC) report showing costs of projects, and coordinate it with the cost control department for reviewing.
• Gather all finance-related requests from other internal departments and assign them as tasks to subordinates to be prepared, revised, and reported back to the GM for approval.
• Prepare the quarterly, trial balance to be reviewed in the external audit.
• Revise the cost of items with the Warehouse department to be compared against the registered costs in the finance accounts in order to ensure correct financial records.
• Hold and lead the monthly closing meeting to set tasks and deadlines for the month, and communicate all follow-ups needed to ensure a successful month closing.
• Discuss the overall performance of the Finance team, and set rules and guidelines to be followed to ensure a smooth flow of procedures.
