Senior Operations
Role Description
Being a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in logistics and freight operations, the Operations Officer delivers excellence while working closely with our agents, freight partners and customers. All the way from rating to releasing shipments, the officer will play an important role in converging quotes into actionable shipments and building cooperative relations with stakeholders in this always-evolving part of P.C.
Key Responsibilities
• Handle day-to-day freight operations, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of shipments.
• Coordinate logistics activities with stakeholders from agents, sales department and customers as required.
• Maintain a service quality, and improve customer satisfaction.
• Handle and liaise with shipping lines and sales dept. all shipment activities from pricing to sign-off when required.
• Resolve operational issues and ensure smooth execution of services.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
• 3+ years of experience in freight forwarding industry or relevant fields.
• In-depth understanding of import/export operations across different modes of shipping is a must.
• Proficiency in English.
• Proficiency in MS office. (Proficiency in IST software is a plus)
• Communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines effectively
