Refrigeration Specialist
Job Purpose
Refrigeration Specialist responsible for providing expert support and guidance to ensure the safety, performance, and maintenance of refrigeration systems across a portfolio of sites.
The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and implement world-class refrigeration solutions that enhance operational efficiency and reliability.
Job Responsibilities
Alarm Management: Respond promptly to system alarms and alerts, investigate root causes of deviations from normal operating conditions, and coordinate with on-site maintenance teams to address issues and implement corrective actions.
Data Analysis: Analyze data collected from monitoring systems to identify trends, anomalies, and potential performance issues. Generate reports and provide insights to support decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.
Maintenance Coordination: Collaborate with scheduling and on-site maintenance teams to plan and execute preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs for industrial refrigeration systems. Coordinate maintenance activities to minimize operational disruptions while ensuring adherence to maintenance schedules and best practices.
Documentation and Reporting: Utilize appropriate maintenance management systems (such as APM) to maintain accurate records of system performance, maintenance activities, F-Gas logs, and troubleshooting efforts. Prepare regular reports summarizing system performance, maintenance actions, and recommendations for improvement.
Maintenance Optimization: Partner with field maintenance teams to develop and implement best practices for preventive and predictive maintenance. Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains.
Technical Support: Act as a technical resource for escalation specialists, providing guidance on troubleshooting complex issues, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions. Support training and knowledge development for both escalation and field teams.
Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing the reliability, efficiency, and sustainability of refrigeration systems. Support the implementation of innovative technologies and solutions.
Compliance and Safety: Ensure all maintenance activities comply with applicable regulations, environmental standards, and safety requirements. Conduct regular audits to verify compliance and address any identified gaps.
Basic Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of experience in industrial refrigeration systems maintenance and troubleshooting.
Strong knowledge of refrigeration principles, equipment, and components.
Familiarity with remote monitoring tools and systems.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote or distributed environment.
Strong commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.
