Operations Director
We are hiring an Operations Director – Feed Manufacturing to lead the full operations value chain across production, logistics, and maintenance. You will own large-scale manufacturing performance, process optimization, and operational strategy to ensure efficiency, quality, and cost control. The role is accountable for translating business growth plans into scalable, high-performing operational execution. Key Responsibilities
Define and execute short- and long-term operational strategies aligned with business growth and production targets.
Oversee feed manufacturing operations including extrusion and pelleting to ensure productivity, quality, and consistency.
Integrate production, logistics, procurement, quality, and maintenance into a single high-performing value chain.
Lead process optimization, automation, and lean initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce cost per tonne.
Establish and monitor KPI dashboards covering production volume, downtime, energy efficiency, and logistics performance.
Ensure full compliance with HSE, ISO, environmental, and feed safety standards across all operations.
Lead, develop, and evaluate cross-functional operational teams including succession and performance planning.
Manage CAPEX projects including new production lines, automation, and plant expansions.
Requirements
10–15 years of experience in animal feed manufacturing, including extrusion-based production environments.
Proven senior leadership experience as an Operations Director, Plant Manager, or Technical Director in a manufacturing setting.
Strong background in process optimization, supply chain efficiency, and production systems.
Hands-on technical understanding of extrusion, pelleting, quality control, and feed safety systems (ISO, HACCP).
Experience managing large CAPEX projects and factory-scale investments.
Proficiency with ERP and production systems such as SAP, JD Edwards, or equivalent platforms.
Fluency in English and Arabic with strong analytical and communication skills.
