General Accountant

Job Requisition

Job Title: General Accountant
Department: Finance

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented General Accountant to handle day-to-day accounting operations, ensure accurate financial records, and support the finance team in closing and reporting activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Record daily financial transactions and journal entries

  • Prepare and review general ledger accounts

  • Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing

  • Prepare bank reconciliations and follow up on discrepancies

  • Manage accounts payable and receivable

  • Assist in preparing financial reports and statements

  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

  • Proven experience as a General Accountant

  • Good knowledge of accounting principles

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel

  • Experience with accounting software is a plus

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
