Branch Accountant
Job Summary:
We are looking for a Branch Accountant to manage the daily accounting activities of the branch, ensure accurate financial records, and coordinate with head office on financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Record daily branch transactions and journal entries
Handle cash management and daily cash reports
Monitor branch expenses and revenues
Prepare bank reconciliations and follow up on discrepancies
Manage accounts payable and receivable at branch level
Ensure proper documentation of all financial transactions
Coordinate with head office for monthly closing and reports
Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
Previous experience as a Branch Accountant
Good knowledge of accounting principles
Strong Excel skills
Experience with accounting software is a plus
