Senior IT Specailist
Responsibilities:
Network & Security Administration :
Design, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN networks using Cisco and Fortinet devices
(FortiGate, FortiAP, FortiSwitch .(
Implement and manage network security measures, firewalls, VPNs, and access controls.
Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure maximum uptime and
reliability.
Cloud & Systems Management :
Administer Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams) and core Azure functionalities.
Manage virtualization platforms (VMware vSphere or Microsoft Hyper-V) to ensure high
availability and optimal performance.
Maintain accurate system documentation, configurations, and infrastructure inventory.
Backup & Disaster Recovery :
Implement and oversee backup, recovery, and replication strategies using Veeam Backup & Replication .
Ensure business continuity plans are tested and up to date .
IT Security & Compliance :
Proactively monitor system logs, performance, and security alerts.
Enforce company security policies and ensure compliance with best practices.
Manage external software and license renewals.
Collaboration & Support :
Provide high-level technical support to resolve complex IT issues.
Mentor junior IT team members and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Active CCNA certification (required .(
Minimum 2 years of experience in IT infrastructure, systems administration, and networking.
Strong knowledge of Fortinet products, Microsoft Cloud Services, and virtualization
technologies.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Professional Skills :
Advanced networking, security, and system administration expertise .
Proficiency in Veeam Backup, VMware/Hyper-V, and Microsoft 365 . Exceptional attention to detail in documentation, configuration, and troubles
